  1. ReGIONALS, sorry to say but you are wrong. http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-Details.asp?EdpNo=4485017&sku=S445-10025 i7 for only 750 dollars. Only reason your i7 rig cost so much is because you slap the most expensive parts you can find on your setup. More expensive does not = more reliable. Some stuff will cost less and still be just as reliable.
  2. Holy... Shit.

Oh gosh, death in a box.
  3. LOL! Do you seriously think that computer you posted is better than an Intel at the same price? You are the funniest guy I have ever met. I can build a i7 for that price and that i7 setup would be at least 10x better than the one you posted up. Sorry to say, but if continue your path of AMD, you will just get jipped. I can build a Intel setup with similar performance for ~700 dollars. That's 500 dollars ripped out of your wallet. Have fun getting ripped off by shit eating AMD. EDIT: Best bang for the buck doesn't mean Antec 1200. When you go for a "best bang for the buck", you get any 30 dollar case that will have enough room for everything you have. And it also means 1 hard drive, not 2.
  4. Big CSS fail

I can't breathe. This is the most epic CS:S ownage ever.
  5. You don't have CS:S yet?
  6. Totally agreed. It used to be so much better.
  7. Well, I was only comparing it to the one that ReGIONALS posted.
  8. Holy... Shit.

I personally think that case is ugly. I'm not a futuristic type of guy.
  9. BudhFVnN2o0 Yups. Fixed.
  10. OMGPOP!! Who plays?

    Just joined. leslieliang60634.
  11. Sick 1 deag.

I hate how it makes that little whirlpool looking thing. I can't even see what happened.
  12. The Crosshair III is a really good motherboard. IMO, it's better than the one suggested by ReGIONALS. One noticeable difference is that the Crosshair III comes with a dedicated sound card. This means crisp clear sounds. When playing L4d, you can hear the witch crying from a mile away or a zombie walking up behind you. Another difference is that the M4A79T has 4 PCIe x16 slots, which I find useless because even with Quad SLI, you only need 2 PCIe x16 slots. Tri SLI requires 3. 4 is just unnecessary. Other than that, it is essentially the same board. The way I view it is that the Crosshair III is better because it is given a name, rather than a model number. Your choice of power supply is not the best. Apevia doesn't really seem that trustable to me. If you can't afford one of those Godlike PSU that Shadowex3 suggests, I recommend a bare minimum of OCZ or BFG. They are able to deliver top quality memory or graphics cards respectively, so I wouldn't doubt the quality of their PSUs. They're not the best, but they won't kill your computer in a month. TBH, I don't think a third party cooler is required unless you are overclocking your processor. That is ~40 dollars saved if you do not overclock. Stocks will be find, especially with AMDs. Good strong choice of graphics card. I'm not a big fan of Seagates, so I don't keep up with them. I recommend Western Digital, but that's just me. I'm not sure which one is better, I just like Western Digitals. Where is the memory?
  13. Fail Blog

    I just ordered one. :ohwell:
  14. Haha. This is pretty cool! KANYE IS BASHING MY SITE! :O http://kanyelicious.appspot.com/http://www.youtube.com/leslieliang
  15. Never had one before. My school is too "good".
  16. Correct and incorrect. Some maps use HE while others use FB. Usually, FB are the ones with a divider in the middle and the maps that use HE, you can run around anywhere.
  17. Bump. Hope Garfield or someone reads this. I think it is the servers lagging and not you. I'm getting slow download speeds too. I just reinstalled CS:S and I've been trying to connect to a server for more than 10 minutes. It usually takes me less than a minute to get in from a fresh install/cstrike delete.
  18. This.
  19. Just delete the whole cstrike folder along with it. I do this once a month to get rid of all the download files that clog my computer.
  20. This cam is cool!
  21. Actually, from what I know, it's: AMD/ATI Intel/ATI Nvidia/Nvidia But ever since the introduction of Core i7, it's slightly Intel/Nvidia & ATI, since SLI is now supported (FINALLY).
  22. Thanks to both of you for your feedback. I am planning to grab one myself. And yea, like Sahdowex3 and I always say, building it yourself will be so much better and cheaper. The prebuilt I linked earlier can go for like 500 dollars. But prebuilts have one major benefit and this is the warranty. If anything screws up, you can just get it fixed for free (most of the time).
