  1. Gaming Laptop

Do you need a gaming laptop?
  2. A good hard drive

It's cool. My bad for twisting your words though. I do agree that prebuilts usually cheap out on parts. But the only thing I worry about in prebuilts are the PSU. Everything seems fine to me as long as it has the manufacturer's name on it (and it's a trustable manufacturer).
  3. SHENANIGANS!
  4. So the USA can easily track real UFOs from outer space (if they existed), right? If so, that must mean all those sitings of UFOs in USA are fake, because USA would have scrambled their F14/15/16s (or whatever they use), before anyone can have a look at those UFOs. Please correct me if I am wrong, as I have a very bad comprehension.
  5. I was wondering what is the Google search query that spits out the most results. The largest one I have found is "com", giving me 21,350,000,000 results. Can anyone beat this?
  6. It ripped through his pants! :O
  7. A good hard drive

Doesn't surprise me. I just don't like to be wrong. I also hate when false information is given to people who don't know very much about the topic. If I ask for help, I'd expect a truthful answer.
  8. C-walk

Those CWalks vids on the first page are pretty weak. These 3 guys are the one I recently watched: http://www.youtube.com/user/LilVietJr http://www.youtube.com/user/VietlilX http://www.youtube.com/user/xXvietlaXx CBskz_53kwU
  9. A good hard drive

Well, based on your above statement, you really don't know anything in this category. I've been reading reviews after review about hard drive, since I am planning to get a 1TB drive, and based on what I know, Samsung and WD are top. Just because a certain component is available in a rebuilt doesn't make it "shit". My computer came with an E8400, does that make Intel "shit"? My friends computer came with a HD 4870, does that make ATI "shit"?
  10. Router

I think a/b/g is enough because America's average 6.22 Mbps according to speedtest.net
  11. A good hard drive

I've never had a Seagate in my life. All of the computers I own have WDs in them.
  12. Router

If the wireless card in your laptop even supports N. If not a N router is useless, unless you use it direct connections to another computer or LAN/WAN.
  13. New PC

From what I know, this build is from IBP or CPPC.
  14. A bit expensive for self build. Also, get Windows 7, or the free upgrade. It runs better than XP (plus or minus a few for different things).
  15. A good hard drive

    Western Digital. Or Samsung.
  16. You are most likely correct as I am basing my statement off reviews when the 4850 first came out. I haven't kept up with ATI since.
  17. Good pc website?

Although IBP and CPPC are the same, it seems like IBP is the main one that people get their orders one month after their purchase.
  18. computer problem

Well if there is a virus on your friend's hard drive, you might not want to plug it into your computer.
  19. Well what do you expect from a 800 dollar budget? Are you expecting i7 965 with GTX 295s in QuadSLI? Come on now, I know you are good at computers, probably better than me, but it's a 800 dollar budget. And regardless, something is going to be bottleneck the system, whether it be GPU, CPU, RAM, hard drive, motherboard, PSU. Whatever it is, something is going to bottleneck the computer. There is no computer in existence without a bottleneck. Even a million dollar computer will be bottleneck.
  20. Good pc website?

CyberPowerPC is pretty good. My computer is actually a CyberPowerPC with a CoolerMaster Storm Sniper. One major thing I heard bad about this company is their support. It blows. Also, CyberPowerPC is more of a hit or miss company (mostly hits). You can or 4 computers from them and they will all be fine, but then order a 5th computer and it will be DOA. Getting a DOA from them is not guaranteed, it will happen though. Don't get me wrong, it's a legit site. You will get what you ordered. I actually recommend CyberPowerPC.
  21. Are you serious? HD 4850 is the best bang for your buck. It has the highest price to performance ratio out of all high end AMD cards. 920 also has the highest price to performance ratio out of all Intel processors (at that price range). It's not even a fetish. BTW, I just released it is refurb. I don't think you should get a refurb.
  22. LOL! Is the movie really dubbed like that? That's just nasty. It's like a guy trying to sound like a girl.
  23. COUGHBetter than SG's layout.COUGH
  24. New Monitor!

First time I actually agree with you. Dell makes the best monitors [for the price]. You can get a 21 inch from dell for only 100 dollars if you wait until they have a deal, which is like twice a month. I always get emails from them with coupon codes and monitors for really low price. If you don't want a Dell, Samsung is the way to go for monitors. They are pretty cheap and really well built. I have one in front of me right now. 19 inch for only 80 dollars.
