cs_assault is a depiction of a factory in Chicago, from what I know.
  2. New game...

    L4D2!!!! Or Borderlands!
  3. Banned sign xD

Agreed. I really don't see how asking for help is useless.
  4. Spending more money on a better card is the same as spending less money on a worst card. Nvidia is more reputable as a GPU manufacturer anyways. According to some studies that I saw, Nvidia cards dominate about 63% of the world, while ATI dominates about 28%. The rest goes to Intel, S3, etc. I recommend a GTX 260 or get 2 for SLI (if money is not a problem). As a matter of fact, if you are willing to spend ~500 for 2 GTX 260, maybe get a GTX 295. I would recommend a GTX 285 or 275, but they are hard to find.
  5. What do i need?

Wrong? If one plans to upgrade a prebuilt's graphics card, he should get integrated. You can save a lot of money going integrated, since you are upgrading anyways. If you are going to upgrade the graphics card that comes in the prebuilt, would you rather spend 600 on a computer that comes with a GT220 or 500 on a computer with an integrated? In the end, either machine will have the same graphics, but setup 1 is 100 dollars more. And now you have an extra card sitting around doing nothing.
  6. What would you do..

Jump to my death from the Burj Dubai.
  7. Take a MG and mow down the little hole. Or take a grenade and FIRE IN THE HOLE!
  8. I heard this was a phishing/scamming site.
  9. Buying new PC.

From what I know, the 5770 is better than the GTX 260. You can always wait it out and get a G300 card.
  10. Buying new PC.

PCIe 2.0, 1.1, 2.1, etc. are all backwards compatible. Only downfall is bottlenecking of the older generation PCIe slots. A 1.1 PCIe lane will bottleneck a 2.0 and 2.1 card, 2.0 PCIe lane will bottleneck a 2.1 card, and so on and so forth. But it's only theoretical. The truth is that the bottleneck is usually negligible, unless you have like a GTX295 in a 1.0 PCIe lane or something.
  11. What graphic card?

Or I can go to nvidia.com and get drivers from there.
  12. What graphic card?

LOL. I think he did accidentally the whole bottle.
  13. How ya dern?!?!
  14. Only reason Mac has to attempt to bash Windows in every aspect is because they aren't better than Windows. It's like a bully; only reason a bully picks on little kids is because he can't pick on kids his own size.
  15. What graphic card?

Fail. There is no reason (for anyone on this forum) to buy a graphics card below the mid-range level within a generations of the current graphics cards. As a matter of fact, I find no reason to ever buy a graphics card more than 2 generations old or below the mid-range level.
  16. Help...

    What is a FTP?
  17. Windows 7 upgrade?

I had BSODs with my Vista computer because I didn't know very much about computers when I had that computer (about 2 years ago). I was still learning and I kept messing with the computer. I never did driver updates; didn't know what a driver was. Then it got stolen, so I decided to do some research and learn more about computers before I get a new one, which resulted in my current computer, an E8400 prebuilt for $400.
  18. Windows 7

Haha. Sorry. It's basically XP with the appearance of Vista, but better. 7 has lots of improvements over XP and Vista. Most hardware, drivers, and software are 100% compatible with 7. If XP or Vista supports it, 7 does, too, unless it's a hardware, drivers, or software that hasn't been updated for like 5+ years.
  19. Windows 7 upgrade?

Oh. I learn something new each day. I never thought Vista sucked. I really love Vista because I love shiny new things. Once 7 came out, I would have got it (and did get it) immediately, even if it was like Vista when it was released. Same applied for drivers and software updates; when a new one is released, I get it immediately. Only thing I hated about Vista was the immensive amounts of BSOD. Other than that, I loved Vista. All those people complaining about how Vista sucked never applied to me. To me, Vista was another operating system, except with a new shiny interface/GUI (whatever it's called).
  20. What graphic card?

If you have no use for your 8600, I would love to take it off your hands and put it to good use.
  21. Windows 7 upgrade?

It should be free regardless of when you bought it. They released Vista knowing it sucked. From what I know, it was a half assed Windows 7. Windows Vista was supposed to be 7, but they wanted to follow their schedule or a new OS every 3 years or so, so they rushed it and it turned to crap.
  22. Windows 7

    Yes.
  23. What graphic card?

Of course dude, the ATI 9500 is 5 generations old. They don't even exist anymore.
  24. neverscrub

Our toilet gets cleaned like once a year. I don't understand how people manage to stain their toilets.
