I would just give us a budget to build you a new one. I don’t see what the PSU is, but you’ll probably need a new one anyway.

Post your whole build, if your running a 1050 as your only upgraded part you are probably looking at desperately needing to upgrade to run anything modern decently. I’d be surprised if you were even running a quad core with 8 threads.

Well here we are, I've been involved with SG in one form or another since I was 11. I only got a computer and bought CS so that I could play on the ZM zombie server with my friends and here we are 15 years later. It's been an absolute pleasure (most of the time) being apart of this community and working towards it's betterment. I know right now is a rough patch but I genuinely believe with some of the moves that will be made that we will find ourselves stable once again. I wish I could have done more as a BD but unfortunately the promotion came at a time in my life when I didn't have much time to begin with and I couldn't make it work, this place needs a team of leaders who are active and paying attention to all facets of the community. I'm glad that after all this time I can finally walk away cleanly and with fond memories. @Dominicyou've said some pretty dumb things and acted retarded but who am i to judge. Glad at the end of the day I can say that I consider you a friend. @eXtr3m3the fuckin boy, we may not speak like we used to brother but the love still there. I'm willing to level with you guys and extend a friendly offer. I will open up a 1v1 server for the MGT. I will make it 24 slots and we will monitor it's progress as an MGT being open for a week or two. The catch is if I don't see the server full at least once, I wouldn't even give making a permanent server a thought. I encourage everyone who is interested to present some ideas for stuff to add to make it more fun and enjoyable to play.

I asked poke to make the thread as I can't justify to the rest of the Board opening a 1v1 server at this current time without at least having a thread that shows SOME kind of interest. From here this is my personal opinion and your welcome to challenge it. By no means am I making an official call. I don't think a 1v1 server is good for us right now. I think its just another distraction that the effort put into building will not yield fruitful results. We opened a 1v1 server when our ZE was ranked 2, TTT/JB/FFA was in top500 and it still went bust. I know because I'm the one who built and opened it and it was mildly popular for a few days afterwards and then dead until we hosted some 1v1 events. Do I think it's a bad idea? No. Do I think it's worth throwing another server out there that has already proved to be a failing venture when we were in a much better position? No. That being said, if we decided as a community to open one I am more than willing to put it together.

Hi Team, One of the things we're looking at is revamping what we offer for supporter perks. Since you all would be the potential beneficiaries of this change it makes more sense to gauge what options would be available based on what you would like to see and go from there. I'm not saying everything or anything mentioned here will be added I just want to get an idea of what everyone is looking for out of supporter. Looking forward to seeing the responses!

I don't disagree with this at all, I'm just saying if they are back and active who else in this community has the proven track record of running the community successfully?

I just want to add here for those of you who have this opinion that Gator and Caution are to blame or need to be removed. I will agree that at one point, that was a viable option and probably for that specific point in time the way to go. Since they told us they were coming back and being active I've seen changes for the better in how our staff communicates and how decisions are made. I also think its asinine to say that the guy who successfully ran the community for the last 10 years doesn't know what he's doing. True, he may not be as in tune with specific communities for each server but he knows how to handle the community as a whole and that is not something(no offense) anyone else on the Board can just strap up and do at this point in time. If he goes AWOL again for an extended amount of time and things are hitting the fan, then I would agree we need a interim president or someone who can make the final decision in a timely manner without having to run it by Caution. Behind the scenes, wheels are are getting greased and engines are being primed. Those that are committed will hang around in some fashion or the alternative is retirement or a role that requires less of a time commitment.

I agree with this, when the change was made because we were trying to branch out to different games it made sense to not have a whole section dedicated to just our CSGO servers. However with the refocus on CSGO, I think it would be beneficial to have separate sub forums and make those sections easier to see at a glance.

honestly I think removing the bias would be the best course of action. Some people want the clout and some people don’t care for it. But when it comes to the whole updating the policy, who’s to say what impact someone had when your looking back on it. If a handful of people weren’t here at this moment, I could most likely successfully get whosever in charge to demote Red Tampon and I know for sure raven maniac when the impact these two had combined is probably more impact than the majority of people we had in staff over the last 2 years. makes more sense to update the policy when it becomes outdated or a better idea comes up, but those who are where they are should be left in that rank since they were given their recognition at the time of service. They aren’t gonna update the policy for a Purple Heart and then go back to all the vets and say sorry you don’t make the cut anymore. At least I don’t think they would. s much as I’m willing to discuss new ideas for recognition ranks, I think brain power would be better spent towards having a serious and well thought out plan of attack to get the gears greased up and the wheels rolling.
