As for the rest of you yelling at him about this: Religion is a very personal issue, rather than raging or QQing at him, let him do his thing. If you have no reason for him to pray for you, or feel like its a pointless endeavor, just move on and don't bother the man. Heckling him, antagonizing him, or otherwise bugging him for this kindly offer is not only rude, but it shows how big an asshole you can be online. If you are Athiest or Agnostic, I can respect your ideological reservations to the concept of prayer, but realize that for the vast majority of the rest of humanity, it IS something they believe in and do, many times a day. I'm not saying you are necessarily right, but realize that heckling the guy, or screaming at him through the interwebs to show your E-cool by telling him prayer is bullshit and there is no God just makes you look like an enormous prick, AND takes away any credence or support your position may have had prior to your commentary. As for the pretend atheists, and I figure its most of the ones here, believe me, when shit gets REALLY bad, you'll be calling out to your invisible avenger, whatever name you may call him/her/it, be it Jesus, Allah, or Jesus-Raptor-Spaghetti-Monster. Let me elaborate on the path to attorney in the US. Currently, the path to law school in the US is as follows: A student must finish high school successfully and complete a 4 year bachelor's program at minimum, AND take the Law School Admissions Test, a pain in the ass exam that makes college juniors and seniors cry and get cold sweats. If you get into law school, you get to go through 3 years of mindfuck until you "get it", and after that, you have to take the bar exam, which is a lot like having your testicles put through a wheat thresher, slowly. AFTER that, you get to pay dues to the bar for the privilege to practice, and hope the economy has not imploded on your career and aspirations...

Yea, in most US law schools or colleges High School grades below a B+ are generally laughed out of the law school and college. That being said, we really don't need more shitty attorneys in my profession.
