Depending on your age and back quality, the Gixxer is probably going to be more comfortable than the Sportster for extended jaunts. TBH Harleys don't really have anything going for them except looks and resale value. The sportster JUST got helical-cut gears in 2006 and fuel injection in '07, it's like they pride themselves in being 25 years behind the curve. The Harley would be a better first bike though...if you really wanted a sportbike first I'd recommend looking for a CBR600F4i, it's probably the most forgiving 600cc sportbike you'll find. That whole category just gets more and more extreme every year, which makes them more and more dangerous for new riders. You can go riding with your friend either way...ride them both and see which one you like better. Harley lets you test-ride any bike but for other makes it varies by dealer.

Homeless isn't always lazy...in areas with a higher cost of living you'd be surprised how many people are homeless with jobs. One of my friends in Portland spent almost a month living in his car and going to the Y to shower cause he had to save up to make first+last+security for a new apartment.

I thought the teenagers down there were doing a pretty good job keeping the homeless population in check.

I get 16city/28highway on mine 3800 Series II gets like 26city/28highway.... depending on what condition that thing is in you MIGHT be able to squeeze 20mpg out of it on a good day. And I hope you mean 200/250ci and not 200/250hp, cause you'll be in for a surprise if you're expecting 200hp out of that thing...try 80.

Hopefully they don't delay it again :cursing: I really can't think of anything I'm particularly excited for this year. SC2 looks alright but if it plays anything like the original it'll get boring after a week. The single-player was only worthwhile in the first one cause the story was good. If JA3 is anything like the first two then I'll be getting that the day it comes out, but I'm not expecting much there either. Cities Unlimited might be cool, I'm gonna check out City Life and see how that is, since the SimCity franchise hasn't really had a good game since SimCity 2000. Oh yeah, some of the adventure games look pretty cool too, there's one from the Monkey Island guys :O!

If I were an admissions worker, I don't think I would take any test seriously that had trig in the "college math" section :\ If you can do algebra, you're good for any major that doesn't make heavy use of mathematics (eg. physics or business). A lot of places will require you to at least take algebra but that shit's cake.

I wish I'd taken Cello in elementary school instead of trumpet All I wanted to do was play reveille...they brought us into the music room and had us play all the options available to see what we would be best at and they were like "yeah can you please play cello now you should really play cello" but I didn't listen To this day I still haven't managed to get a flute to make noise.
