  1. This is fairly situational. If it's a map such as moonjail and they're trying to get nyan cat secret and the Ts are outside, the CT is delaying and being of no help to the team. If it's a map like electric and the order was to go to soccer, and the CT goes to showers to go to the TP to get to soccer catwalk without baiting the Ts, this would prevent Ts from rebelling and be an arguably good move for the CTs. It seems like this question is more targetted towards moonjail and the CTs liking to do nyan cat/above main cell secret while they're of no use to the CTs. Admins have switched CTs doing this and not enforcing and will continue to as long as the rule doesn't change that @Noxstar mentioned.

  3. As I've never been any form of staff before, I doubt my opinion here carries really any weight, but I'll put my two cents in on this. As we have 11 CAs right now, I think to split CA into SR and CA would be pretty beneficial for the community. There are CAs that generally don't show a ton of activity on the forums and TeamSpeak, and there's nothing wrong with that. They prefer to be in servers more and just play the game and moderate there. I think splitting CA into two would allow those who want to focus on the servers be able to thrive in their role and allow people who are more forum heavy to be able to moderate the forums more. If we brought back SR, I think the core responsibilities would be of course to be active in the servers, especially the one you are representing and bring back the general consensus of what that player base wants for the future of the server. There are plenty of regular players on all the servers who don't frequent the forums, and their voices aren't heard. If we brought SR back, I think their core focus would be on the server, but it would also prove beneficial if they had to do a "report" every so often giving updates on things going right and wrong in the servers both from an objective point of view, and how the overall player base of that server feels things are going. Then it would go to the ATs to figure out what needs changing and doesn't. It wouldn't hurt to keep CA as "Community Advisor" because I feel if their responsibility was mainly to moderate and interact on the forum, they would truly be a community advisor. Of course, this would be a BIG step, but the CAs would need to coordinate with the IAs and BDs to see a good balance of what would be handled by the CAs and what would be handled by the IAs+. I think it would be good to assign SRs to the server they most prefer, and CAs would remain unassigned, still being able to play whatever server, but focus on community sided issues that need resolving at the lower level. As I said, I've never held any sort of staff position, so this long, ranting statement probably carries little/no weight, but I feel like I should put out my opinion nonetheless. Edit: I also don't see an issue with people who want to hold both an SR and CA position. If they intend on one day being a higher-up, holding a position of both CA and SR may prove helpful if they want to be an AT/IA.
  4. As long as it does 1-99 damage, yes. You're allowed to warning shot with anything that does 1-99 damage. Nades are included, but be very careful as to not damage innocent Ts if you choose to warning shot with that.
  5. I'm personally a big fan of hip hop/rap/r&b, and I've been enjoying an "older album" in the grand scheme of the ever-changing rap game. Good kid, M.A.A.D. city is probably one of my most favorite rap albums of all time. To me, the album just has too many memorable songs that I can go through without missing a word or a beat. Not only is this considered up there in the discussion of some of the greatest albums, but this is the album that got me into the genre so it has a special place in my heart, and I come back to revisit the album year after year. Outside of rap, I will mostly listen to anything except newer country, as I can appreciate some Johnny Cash or some Lynard Skynard if you consider them country. There's been a couple of musicians/bands I recently discovered I've taken quite a liking to, and I think they both have an album that's stood out to me so far that I've really enjoyed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EGytzUc_RF4 I've really been enjoying Currents from Tame Impala over the last month or so, mainly the tracks Past Life, The Less I Know the Better, and New Person, Same Old Mistakes. The album overall is enjoyable and I don't think I have skipped a song, but those three really stood out to me. BALLADS 1 by Joji is kinda something I've been listening to pretty frequently since its release. Outside of the edgy, pubescent me watching pretty much every Filthy Frank video, seeing this man evolve and want to focus on music, I really do think most of the songs on this EP are really solid. I would say my only gripe with this project is Trippie Redd's high pitched whines on R.I.P., but outside of that, I enjoy most of the EP.
  6. How do you warning shot an unarmored T in the head as a warning shot? If I'm not mistaken, there's not a single gun that doesn't do over 100 damage as a headshot against an unarmored opponent. (Source) But on a personal note, I don't think there's an issue with people warning shotting with any weapon as long as it does 1-99 damage. Sure, warning shotting with strong weapons is a dick move but can be very useful on maps where Ts have no issue rebelling, such as electric and VIP. I can see how getting a warning shot for 78 is pretty annoying, but I don't see an issue with it overall.
  7. You can make it similar to how you reported KEDZO. Screenshots of harassing you being typed out would suffice if they are doing it via chat. If they are verbally harassing you, I suggest shadow playing the clips if you have that, or getting OBS and recording that way. OBS is extremely simple to set up and can get up and running within minutes of install. After you get evidence of them doing what you see as harassment, make a player complaint like normal.
  8. OKAY @ REGS, THE GAMEPLAN IS SIMPLE: E V E R Y O N E EXCEPT DREW, GO FOR HAXOR @Drew4p : YOU GOT EVERYONE ELSE GOOD LUCK
  9. I can get your point, and I know I'm more of a JB/TTT reg, but the suggestion was meant more for MG. @Sully makes a good point where it can become a pain in the ass on maps where it is headshot only.
  10. I think it would be really useful if we added a !ctinfo that would provide basic information on CTs for JB relating to things like: Information on the new CT Ranks system: I've been hearing a lot of questions on how it works by those in-game who aren't up to date with the forums. If we listed the commands and the time needed for each rank, people could have the information they wanted by using a simple command in-game List of CT commands: Pretty self-explanatory, would list out the commands and their functions (!fo, !marker, etc.) Some basic rules related to types of orders that can and can't be given. I understand these are most likely already in !rules, but it can't hurt to have it there again. Though small, I think this could be really useful for the people who don't utilize the forums.
  11. This is a big brain idea. I like it. MG could use a little boost. A good server that just needs some attention
  12. Much like @Kopsta said, most of the time we have 2-4 spectators tops, so I don't see much of a point of adding a second scrim server when sometimes we can barely get enough people to start a game alone. If there is a situation where the scrim server is full, as in 15/15 slots of the server, then tough luck I suppose. I don't personally think a second scrim server is needed, nor would it really ever get a game going. (If anything, there are other servers that would be more of a prime candidate to have a second server.)
  13. ta da. Found this one.
  14. For your first car: 1) Go with a domestic or extremely popular company like Honda, Toyota, or Hyundai. 2) IF you have a mechanic that isn't one at a dealership ask if you can take the car to be inspected by the mechanic. A local or family mechanic will be honest with you about the car and find any potential problems that will cost you more than you're already paying. 3) When I went car shopping for my first car, I really had a general idea of what type of car I wanted and wasn't dead set on what car in specific I was trying to get. I initially wanted a chevy or a Hyundai, but I ended up with a Ford Fusion that runs great and I got an incredible deal on it, too.
  15. After playing the map a couple of more times and actually giving it a chance in my mind I can actually see the potential with the map, and actually, hope it gets played more so players can learn the ins and outs of the map. @Manny since I am the OP of the thread, would you be able to mark it rejected upon my request? (This is me asking for it to be rejected)
  16. The forum awards are based off of these times. Listed here So, I can apply for the 15 day award after 6 hours and 8 more minutes of playtime on T and CT. (calculate that here if you need help)
  17. I meant getting higher speed by bhopping. I just find it most servers have it so you can speed boost into stages past the first one. I can also see why you wouldn't want that though.
  18. I don't know if this would be possible, but I think past the start of the map, you should not lose momentum by going through teleporters to another stage on maps such as kitsune. Most servers I've seen in the past have it so you only have your momentum killed at the start of the map. The current max is 350 to stop people from bhopping in the starting zone of checkpoints, though I thought it was only intended for the start of the map.
  19. This would be great for the server. I suggest that the map be surf_summer as it's a longer map with much improvement to be made for most people. Otherwise, it could be used for a new map that would be added.
  20. Hello all, I've been thinking about this for a while now, and the reason I haven't really posted this thread yet is that I still haven't thought of what type of compensation would be given to those affected and how it would be determined. I suggest that we remove three hats in particular: "Minecraft", "Astronaut", and "Eyeball". These hats completely obscure the head and many players complain about it making it harder to hit headshots when people wear these hats. I think this should set a standard of disallowing hats that completely obscure the head of a player model. It's a small change, but I feel it could make gameplay better. The problem is, I can't really think of a proper way of compensating players that spent their hard-earned / purchased credits on these cosmetics. Picking out every player and asking or looking to see who has what cosmetic is far too time-consuming and a hassle, and giving every player a flat amount of credits isn't financially viable, as the server profits off the sale of credits for in-game cosmetics. The only thing I thought of with the slimmest chance of working is putting out a big thread with a google form attached asking for who has what cosmetic and a screenshot of proof. This would cut out the hassle of searching through every player, and if we gave players two weeks or so to fill out the form, the members that would be affected would be able to get their compensation. Please leave your thoughts and further additions. Thanks, Phoenix
