I really do not think this would be a good idea for an event. If we had autohop on for an event people would get somewhere close to doing "that shit". I understand you have interest for this event but if you want to experience something like this I recommend just checking out the MG server when a deathmatch map is on. On top of that, I think it's worth it to think about how this may make the majority of the map pool unplayable. Adding autohop will only further exaggerate the gap on some maps on making it T or CT-sided. BUT, do not fret, I can promise you that we do have an event coming in December that will hopefully bring some hype back to the server, especially when everyone is off from school. Until then, I encourage you to try and get people on via shoutbox and messaging your friends on Steam. Scrim has been pretty "dead" more or less because it's a lot harder to get people on with everyone being in school or working jobs.

I personally am fine with all the changes except for these: Events Manager -> Lead Coordinator Events Team -> Event Coordinator Media Manager -> Lead Designer Media Team -> Designers Modding Manager -> Lead Mapper Modding Team -> Mapper I really don't think these teams need much changing because their names really suit their roles well. This could just be me liking some things to indefinitely stay the same because I sometimes don't see small changes like these necessary at times. I really don't believe the Events Team or Media Team need any changes to their names at all, as I think they're pretty perfect as is. If there were to be a change to the modding team, I personally think it should just be changed to Modder and Lead Modder. I just don't feel like "Event Coordinator" has the same flow as "Events Team" even if it meant it would stick out. I'm also pretty indifferent towards the whole "Director" and "Board of Directors" thing because I think that while "Director" does sound nice on an individual level, it would still be better to reference the group of Directors as the "Board of Directors".

The team generally liked the idea of custom LRs. With this in mind, we may see some changes come to our LR plugin soon™. Sit tight . Thanks for the suggestion!

5 years: Hopefully pretty fresh out of a five-year program with my master's degree, working a job and working on getting some cybersecurity certifications. Hopefully, have a serious girlfriend by then and if she's the one be engaged to her. Hopefully have my own place. 10 years: Starting a family, maybe a kid or two, happily married, a steady and well-paying job. Happy life free of my current mental struggles. Hopefully continue from there to have a beautiful wife, children, and a happy and long life.

I think your best option here would be to wait until black friday when there's some great deals on laptops and PCs and you can get a really great bang for your buck then.

I did some looking and I don't think this is really feasible with how the !ws plugin works. To get workshop skins and/or skins made here would most likely require a whole new plugin that may conflict with the !ws plugin we already have. We're always open to looking at new player models, and I would suggest making a separate post with a list of models you'd want us to review and see if they're worth being put into the server. Speaking on a personal note, I definitely could NEVER get behind this. Introducing a pay-to-play aspect I feel would put a really foul taste in the mouths of players, especially those who choose not to pay for sub or vip. One of the main goals it seems we have is to make our servers a level-playing field when it comes to who can do what on the servers. If we do eventually implement a CT queue plugin, it should definitely be accessible and fair to everyone. As someone who never had VIP before donating a skin, if I had encountered this situation where I was waiting in the CT queue for 2/3 of a map and a freshly joined VIP came in and took a new spot after playing for a whole 10 seconds, I would be at least a little inclined to not play the server. Think about if that happened to a new player: do you think they would come back if they got screwed out of a spot by someone who had joined 30 seconds earlier? I just really don't think that would be a good look for the server if we gave something other than more aesthetic options to those who support out servers.

Hey pat, sorry we are unable to take care of all the rulebreakers on the servers, but as @Creten mentioned, it isn't our job and we administrate on our own time and do the best we can. Finding a schedule that everyone would agree on would be quite literally impossible since there are so many administrators with their own individual lives and responsibilities. If there is someone in the servers breaking the rules and no admins are on, there are a few of things you can do to try and get them taken care of: - Do !calladmin to potentially get an admin's attention to come on the server - Post something in the shoutbox, someone will nearly always reply to this as staff are very active on the forums - Obtain evidence enough to get someone banned and post a player complaint.

After a discussion with ATs and fellow CAs, we decided this is one of the inherent problems with jailbreak. While we think that a rule regarding this would be pretty solid on paper, it would be a bit sketchy in actual practice. We feel a rule regarding this would just become a sort of a gray area for the CTs. We will not be making any changes to the primary rule for the time being.

I generally don't remember any of my dreams, especially recently. The last dream I remember is probably from around a month ago when I dreamt I was walking down the street, went into a store, bought some stuff and started heading back to my dorm. Hey, a bit late to the party here, but I'm also gonna drop some opinions for you: I think the only thing you can salvage out of this is your harddrive just so you keep what you currently have and have maybe a tiny bit of extra space if you really need it. I would say also keep the power source JUST in case you'd be able to reuse it? Definitely check the amount of power you would need, though. Out of the first build you listed in the OP, I would suggest a couple of changes that would cost more money, but I think you'd be able to pull it off. IF you waited long enough for Black Friday / Cyber Monday for some really great deals on parts I suggest or ones you already intend on getting. 2 changes I recommend: - If you want to get the 860, I would recommend getting the 1tb version, as it's only $50 more for double the storage and in today's day and age as far as really everything goes, the more storage you have, the better. I personally recommend the 960, but it's far more expensive and probably out of your price range. - As @John and @Tyymunk are saying, I would definitely invest more into your GPU. If you want to get a pretty solid GeForce GPU, I would recommend the EVGA GeForce GTX 1660 XC. From what I've been reading it seems the GTX 1660 gives you a really good bang for your buck (as far as GeForce goes). If you want to look outside of GeForce, I would recommend the PowerColor RX 580, like what John said. It comes down to if you value memory or core/boost clock more as the RX 580 will give you more memory but the GTX 1660 will give you a higher core/boost clock. Both of these come in around the same price as well.

I personally think that if there were any time to bring back the marketing team, it would be now. It would be a great opportunity to bring multiple teams together to cooperate to make big projects. For example, if we had a marketing team back, it would be an excellent opportunity to create more promotion and publicity for the charity event. It would incorporate the events team, the media team, and the new marketing team. If we had the right people in the positions, we could really have a great outlet to grow the community. I'm a believer in giving things with great possibilities a chance, even if it does fail again. I feel that we can only gain knowledge and experience from this as long as our cards are played right.
