  5. Shoutout to @ThRza for the awesome banner! Jailbreak Winter Event IP - 70.42.74.162:27017 Come one, come all to the Jailbreak server this holiday season for some wintery fun. This year, we will bring you lots of new and exciting things for you to enjoy. - Firstly, we are going to be adding winter/Christmas versions of electric revamp, spy vs spy, vipinthemix, and summer jail. (Credit to @Noxstar and @Infinityward for their work on these maps) - We will also be bringing you new models (CT/T): Natalie / Santa Claus (Public), Christmas Miku / JackFrost (Sub), Christmas Zoey / Red Grinch (VIP) The event will run from December 20th through January 6th, hope to see you all there! We will start the event at 3:00 PM EST on the 20th, so everyone can be on to start the fun! New Year, New Ranks Also with this event, we will be wiping the current statistics for the CT Ranks. We know that the time you have put in to get your current chat ranks is going down the drain, but with multiple people with bugged times, we feel this would be a great time to give everyone a fresh start and revamp the competition for that number one spot. To encourage some competition, we will be rewarding the top 3 CTs with the most playtime at the end of the event. The prizes will be as follows: 1st Place: 10,000 Credits 2nd Place: 5,000 Credits 3rd Place: 2,500 Credits Gang Wars Now, for the big portion of this event: Gang Wars. Gangs is a plugin on our server that is very much underused and has much potential to be a lot of fun on the server. We are going to be clearing the gang scores to start everyone fresh and bring some hype to the T-side as well. For those unaware of how the Gangs plugin works with points, I will give a brief refresher for you guys and gals: A kill on a CT will make you gain 2 points. An assist on a CT will make you gain 1 point. A death will make you lose 1 point. Further commands can be seen in this thread. The winner will be determined based on the Gangs that have the top scores and the rewards will go as follows: 1st Place: 10,000 Credits for each Gang member 2nd Place: 5,000 Credits for each Gang member 3rd Place: 2,500 Credits for each Gang member While you are here you might as well join our steam group!
  6. have you seen Delirium? It's been a while and I miss him man :( he did some good stuff for the community

  7. Nospread has been added to the server.
  8. Talked this over at the ET meeting and for future Karaoke nights, we will keep Discord open as an option. The main problem with Discord karaoke in the past was the audio quality being problematic due to the number of people talking, but we will certainly look into it. Thank you for the suggestion.
  9. Firstly, I have never seen an instance where someone being VIP/Sub equivalating to us trusting them more. No matter what rank you are in the community, you can be trusted or not trusted based on your actions, not the size of your wallet. Secondly, I don't really see too many people complaining about this unless I'm REALLY missing something. I can understand the frustration but I've never seen this as some huge, massive problem you're making it out to be. Lastly, I don't really see admins being held back by the rules because at least any time I have been on the servers recently, whether tagged up or undercover, things have generally been under control whether there's other admins on or not. Just my 2c though.
  10. Going through this thread it's apparent to me that it really just depends on which admin you end up interacting with when a potential RDMer is on. Some admins will not dig as to not get themselves in trouble, because once you get to a certain point it becomes more of a witch hunt to get someone in trouble more than anything. For how much I do feel for people that do get RDM'ed and the person that wrongs them gets off scot-free, if the admins went off hearsay, then there would be false slays and admin complaints aplenty. I think it's important that the admins can't dig too far into small instances to protect the "innocent until proven guilty" mindset. If you go in with the mentality that someone is guilty, you're going to end up witch-hunting them in the back of your head, whether you want to admit it or not. There's nothing stopping you from using !calladmin to report someone or using admin chat to say "hey keep an eye on _____" or "hey I think _____ RDMed me". Even if an admin doesn't respond to you, more times than not we will keep that person in the back of our heads and maybe keep an extra eye on them for fishy behavior. I know personally when I'm on, I will ask the person that supposedly RDMed someone why they killed the person they did. Even if I can't take action from this 99% of the time, more times than not the situation solves itself whether it be apologies go between the two, the person explains they got T-baited, or whatever the situation is. Sorry to hear you're frustrated by this, but do keep in mind all the staff in this community are doing this on our own free time for no pay. We do our best to keep the servers clean and fun for everyone, but also understand we aren't perfect and we don't have 20 eyes, so we can't see everything. I hate to say it, but I really feel like you're running into a brick wall here, unless you can come back with some mind-blowing suggestion on how to fix this problem you and supposedly other people are having, you're just going to keep coming back saying essentially the same thing over and over to no result.

  12. New Name

I mean you could mirror your name and do TimmiT Maybe also "SemiAutomatic" Idk, I think it's pretty cool
  13. I'm on board with urp and Trazz here, I don't see a need to change anything as of now. It's not that big of a deal (at least from a CA perspective) to have to make a quick post, close, and reject the application. At the same time, I don't get why people don't just read the requirements and realize they shouldn't apply until they have a month + 10 posts. It's not that big of a deal though tbh.
  14. We have an event that is similar to this, called Juggernaut where we limit the number of CTs and increase their health depending on the number of Ts. I'm not particularly sure how this event's turnout would be since we have a similar event that tends to do well. I personally don't like the sound of this, because we already have a similar event to what you're suggesting. Also, I'm unfamiliar with what a purge day is, as we don't have something like that on our server. This event sounds like a kind of a war day- juggernaut mixture. I personally wouldn't go to this, but it may just be me, I don't know.
  15. Current Discord Submissions:

  17. This Month's Map! > The download link to the map is hyperlinked in its name. It's a straightforward Tier 2 map that is semi-quick and fun. For this month, we will be looking at times from the "Normal" style, and the "Scroll" style. Christmas Models! VIP Skin Jack Frost Subscriber Skin Grinch Public Skin Santa Rewards ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1st Place: + $10 Steam game/cosmetic of the winners choosing OR 1 Month of VIP 2nd Place: + 1st place prize winner doesn't choose 3rd Place: + 1 Month of Sub Note: The $10 Steam reward, the VIP, and Sub are all for the Normal style, the winners of the scroll style will get just the forum award. IMPORTANT!! We are switching things up this month. To encourage further participation from those who don't have a forum account but are still active on the servers, we will be allowing discord submissions in the new #bhop-event-submissions text channel. If you have yet to join the discord, you can do so with THIS LINK. To make up for a communication gap between Discord and the forums, I will make a reply to this thread with all the current submissions we get on discord and make a post on discord with all the submitted forum times to keep the competition up-to-date and competitive. If you get a better time and want to submit it again, don't make a new post. Edit the post of your original submission to be up-to-date with your current personal best. We check the times for rewards at the end of the month, so you have no need to worry about not getting your best time checked. BE SURE to include the screenshot that comes with you completing the map like the one shown here: If you do not do this, your time will NOT count. You are free to submit a video, but that is not necessary. The contest will span from 12/1/19 - 1/6/20. Any times submitted afterward will NOT count towards the contest. If you have any questions feel free to send me a PM on the forums! Good luck you sweats And while you're here you might as well join the Events Team steam group to stay updated on other events we have to offer!

  19. Thanks to everyone that showed up! The event was a little scuffed but we did our best and hopefully, yall had some fun.
  20. Bump pt. 2! Event is in 3 hours, hope to see everyone there
  21. IIRC the way !fo is supposed to work is that if someone gives a text order as first order, it's supposed to pop up in the middle of your screen so that everyone can see it and not have to read chat in the corner. As this thread is being made, so I assume this is not the case. So, it seems we need to fix a bug with !fo. To address the whole no chat orders in !fo, there are CTs without microphones and there are those who have microphones that choose not to use them. Our goal is to make the server so that everyone has a fair chance of participating in the game mode as to not give an advantage to someone who has certain things someone else doesn't. Please bare in mind these are my personal thoughts.
  22. I personally don't think this would be a bad thing. I believe that if someone who makes a post with actual effort gets their post deleted, they should be able to know who deleted their post so that if they wanted to, they could follow up with them to get more of an insight as to why their post was deleted. Unless if I'm really missing something, it isn't too often that people get non-shitposts deleted, but this would still be great for the instances where someone makes a post they feel either contributed in some way to a discussion or was at least worth being on the thread. This could let people get a sense of (for lack of a better term) closure as to why their post was removed. I know there were times when I wasn't admin, I was curious as to why my post (when it wasn't an intentional shitpost) was deleted and who deleted it. Even though I don't think this is something that would be utilized too often, it's something that would be good to have even if it's not used all the time, in my opinion. Edit: Now that I'm actually awake, I realized I forgot to address the whole contesting the deleted post thing. I don't think this is a bad idea either, I just don't know how it would be implemented in an efficient way since I'm going to guess this would be an IA+ responsibility for multiple reasons, one of which being that if someone higher up than you deleted the post, you shouldn't be able to restore the post. (For instance, a CA shouldn't restore something an IA deleted.)
  23. Okay, that's good then. @Dom all you need to transfer your Windows from an old PC to a new one is like a 16GB flash drive. If you need more specific instructions on what to do, PM me when you want to know.
