  1. I'm going to be honest here, you're not going to get something too worth your money for $500. If you want something worth your dollar, I would suggest saving a bit more money and going for a more expensive, but still budget build. Something you could also do is build up your PC over time when you can afford the parts. This build is roughly $800, and I think you could get a good chunk of the parts on sale for Black Friday for a good deal, and this deal is a really good bang for your buck IMO. It's really difficult to get an actual even usable build at $500 because the Operating System will sink you 1/5 of that alone. But,this is something I came up with. It'll still set you back $100 over your budget, though. The build @Kopsta sent will also set you back around $100 more than you want because he didn't include an OS or a fan.
  2. ^^ This. As long as there is no proof of you cheating on our servers, there's nothing stopping you from making an alternate account and continuing to play on our servers. Other players in the community have done this. Edit: I know a couple of our servers are Prime-only, so you may not be able to join every server on a fresh account.
  3. Event is in a week, request your songs you want to sing! Hope to see you guys there!
  4. We had an ARK server in the past, and from what I remember it never really got off the ground. I personally don't own the game and obviously didn't run the server, but to my knowledge, it wouldn't make much sense to bring that back atm. We have prop hunt events from time to time, but I don't feel like a prop hunt server would do too well. If you'd like to see a prop hunt event, suggest it in the event suggestions forum and you may see it in the future
  5. its and it is

  6. Glad to see this finally come out. Will be sure to check this out asap when I'm able to get on my desktop again

  8. The servers and forums aren't explicitly for minors. There are many of us who are 18+. At the end of the day, it's up to the person saying the word to make that choice if they want to be racist. I will give you the point that many kids use racism because it's "cool" and "funny" to them, but again, that's their choice. If they get into some shit in real life because they made a habit out of being racist on a video game, it's their own fault because it's not our duty to 'parent' these kids and tell them what's morally right and wrong. We already have a plugin in-place on TTT that censors the hard R to [bad word]. SG has never been a safe space. This is a community full of memes and people busting each other's balls. If you get offended or upset by something you see here, sorry to hear that. Nothing is stopping you from reporting it if you think it violates a rule.
  9. This is, without doubt, a shitty situation and kind of a dick move by the CT involved, but at the same time, no one ever said you had to listen to that order. Since you had a primary, you were KOS and at that point should have just stayed in iso and tried to kill CTs or had thrown your gun to a teammate (imo). But in fairness to the CT, you were KOS since you had a primary and that's the hard truth. For how nice this would be on paper, it brings up essentially the same issue discussed in this thread. It's really one of those things that's solid on paper but faulty in practice because it creates so much of a grey area. Not only this, but it does give more of an advantage to Ts where they currently already have such an advantage. If this rule were implemented there would be people who use this to their advantage both to live and to rebel. It also opens the avenue of "oh you didn't give the dude long enough", and it's unfortunate because this is an issue but finding a solution that would be foolproof is nearly impossible. Mind you, these are my personal thoughts. Also, I'm unsure of why you tagged the people you did, but if you wanted to tag the current JB ATs, they are @fantastic, @Military_king, and @idealist.

  12. I'm late here on the feedback, but I was personally a fan of the models and the map (once the fog was fixed). A credit multiplier is always nice to get people on so they can be rewarded simply by playing. I was not a fan of RTD in it's entirety, I don't think it has a place on jailbreak, unless if it's a one-off event that's an hour long. I feel it takes away from the game mode and just doesn't feel like jailbreak in the same way that I felt that exosuits made Call of Duty not Call of Duty for me. I don't think it's very needed or wanted on any server imo.
  13. As of now, AFK Manager should be updated to prevent people from +left/right afking, but please report this if it is not the case. We also have something in the works that will come around sooner rather than later that will "fix" the bugged the CT times. As mentioned before, thanks for bringing it up, we appreciate it.

  17. Wireless Headsets

I use these. They're really good if you're willing to pay the price. I haven't really utilized the microphone but from the testing I did with it, it wasn't too shabby.
  18. @nick congrats! hope to see you all do well, gentlemen. @Tyymunk @Infinityward @Strayyz @John @HAXOR (except you, forearms), @idealist and @Zayne .
  19. Well, my first sentence was meant to address the OP, but I suppose I wasn't really clear about that. My point there was that getting 25 points takes much longer than 30 minutes, especially for new players who may not be experienced in knowing secrets and good ways to rebel. I hold a stance of no need to change what we have now. I also agree with @Lokibelowkey that if someone is just shitty as CS:GO, it will take them much longer than someone who's naturally good at the game.
  20. This has been discussed here, here, and here (and probably more places, too.). The same conclusion always comes up of that it's not worth changing from the way we have it now. I think that changing it to time spent alive would be a net negative change. I personally see the 30min timer is just to pretty much keep out the trolls because players who actually want to play are willing to wait the 30 minutes and at least get somewhat of a grasp on the gamemode. If we changed it to 30 minutes alive, I feel it will begin to turn into a delay-fest in a gamemode completely about rebelling and killing the CTs. Mind you, these are my personal thoughts.
  21. Due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts, this event has been moved to Saturday, November 9th, a day earlier at the same time. Sorry if this is an inconvenience for anyone.
