Jailbreak is a very fun and easy gamemode to get into. Make sure to read up on the rules thoroughly if you plan on playing CT! It's not nearly as good as TTT, but it can be a nice break if TTT starts getting stale.

I've been sporting a pok3r (very similar 60%) for a few years now and a Quadcast since release. I can tell you that the Quadcast is well worth it. The ducky is a bit more complicated. You'll be getting a pretty solid entry level mechanical keyboard with a few caveats. No matter how much foam and o-rings you use, it is going to be a relatively loud keyboard. I personally don't mind, and have learned to tune out my satisfying clicky cherry blues. Additionally, you will be getting it pre-soldered, which means your switches will be very limited. You'll likely have to choose between whatever Cherry/Gaterons it comes with, but these are once again solid entry level switches. The 60% form factor is something that will take some time to get used to, but doesn't end up being too much of a hinderance.

As someone who has been using wireless headphones for over a year, they're dogshit. They're heavy, sound bad, and you'll forget to charge then and have to plug them in anyways. Dish out some cash for some Arctis Pros if you want a good wireless experience, or even get some wireless earbuds if you have a desk mic. Alternatively, try to go for some better cable management and you'll get much better sound out of wired headphones (with or without a DAC/AMP) for less. I've been using the Void Pro Wireless and I rate them 4/10, ordering some 599s and an AE-7 once I've saved up.

Important to note that 90% of people haven't held most of these ranks and likely don't know what exactly they consist of, myself included. That being said, the thread is public so I'll leave my two cents anyways. One of the things in particular that I find important is the use of Team and Board. While it's cool to have everyone be part of a team, I think being more careful with the use is what we should be going for. The Board of Directors is expected to work together on making many decisions, so I think the name should stick. I don't think all of our teams really need to be teams. While people may work together occasionally, I don't necessarily think that calls for naming something a team. For instance: comparing Media Team to Events Team; I haven't been on either of these teams but I imagine that people on the media team aren't really expected to work collaboratively with each other on a single Banner, whereas people on Events Team SHOULD be conferring with each other when they plan each event.

Unfortunately, I feel that finding opportunities and sponsorship like this would require the approval and decisions of higher ups, limiting the team primarily to IAs and BDs if it were to seek to reach it's full potential. I'm sure that there are things that lower staff could do within the team to get SG's name out there, but I wouldn't want anyone accidentally tarnishing the reputation of our community by being too eager to find partnerships etc.

Sapphire is widely regarded as the BEST brand for AMD GPUs, particularly for their Nitro+ cards. The only difference between brands is generally the cooler design and how well the cards are binned. Given that you are primarily playing CSGO, and I assume you don't plan on overclocking, the PowerColor or any cheap radiator style design will work just fine for your needs though.

Isn't it the Ts fault for getting warning shot in the first place? Should we have Ts heal between orders as well, so they aren't unfairly earning shot to death? I honestly find this very menial, it doesn't make a great deal of difference and would be a hassle to force all the CTs to do this.

Do you have any idea how resource intensive this would be? Try leaving your PC recording for a day and let us know how much hard drive space you have. Furthermore, CAs would have to dig through all these demos and download the right one before determining if the complaint is even true.

I understand that VIPs, Subs, and Admins are able to connect to a full server through console, but this is a bit tedious. Some other servers leave a slot open which allows VIPs to connect directly and more conveniently from the server browser. If someone without a reserved slot attempts to connect, it will not allow them, and instead prints a message along the lines of "This server reserves slots for VIPs" or something to a similar effect. I believe this would make reserved slots slightly more convenient while also advertising Donator perks to the tens of people that find our servers full during peak hours. IIRC the server limit bumps up by 1 when someone with a reserved slot connects, always leaving one open for the next person, and bumping back down when the server is less full. In practice, this wouldn't change how and how many people can connect to the server. I believe Tarik's practice servers may do this if you need an example.

Often times, 5 or 6 Ts will be remaining late round, waiting for one to sacrifice themself for LRs to commence. I propose an option that would give these Ts an option to sacrifice themself alternative to the traditional suicide by cop method. CTs would have the option to extend an opportunity to LR to a chosen T. If one of the last 5+ Ts were to come forward, a CT could extend them a chance to LR, which would allow the T to accept and choose the LR without custom rules. This would prevent rounds from stagnating and dragging on. CTs would be able to extend this at any time during the round, allowing for Mid-Round LRs, if a CT and T agreed on it. I think it's important that menuselect 1 be bound to deny and 9 be bound to accept to prevent CTs from abusing this feature and catching unsuspecting, fatfingered Ts in a Mid-Round LR. It wouldn't be a terrible idea to change these binding in traditional LRs either; as a CT, I've been slammed by LRs a few times as last CT, causing me to be unable to switch weapons properly in tense situations or accidentally finding myself in a knife fight.

I really just see this as replacing a minor annoyance with another annoyance. Disallowing players from shooting before or when the round starts is splitting hairs in my book. It's sort of a rare occurrence and can be avoided by...telling players not to shoot others when the round starts and punishing them accordingly. It does prevent Ts from popping heads with an SMG the second the round starts but it's not a huge inconvenience. I'm not terribly inclined to lean either way honestly, but I don't really agree with why it was added in the first place. Seems a bit like babysitting, but I'm much happier with this than the previous plugin that prevented players from opening vents and windows.
