1. CTs can only kill prisones in a game of forced 4-corners for entering a secret or vent; not for falling in the water or simply knifing a vent. Same goes for clors and any other deathgames. When the deathgames is voluntary, as far as I know, you are able to kill Ts for falling in the water, hence losing the death game.
2. Do not use steel to scrub stainless steel. What were you cooking that caused this mess? You may want to consider Barkeeper's Friend or other chemicals to tackle it. Using harsh physical abrasives will damage the stainless steel surface and make it less resistant to food debris.
3. *presses tab* *Nova 1* Nice.
4. One time a fucked your dad, then went right back to fuck your mom. Sorry @Caution, gonna have to post something else.
5. :dab::dab::dab::dab: While I think it's plausible for people to be driven to improvement by envy, I think it's more healthy to improve yourself through non-envious comparisons. Jealousy generally involves a feeling of discontent with your current situation, which I don't find to be exceedingly more motivating than aspiring to be something while remaining content with your situation.
6. So you're suggesting that we remake all the maps to include a death match portion underneath them? This way players can respawn making it more difficult to keep track of who is actually alive and in the round and allowing players to interfere with the round by remaining unmuted after dying? Could you go into a little more depth here with how you think this should be implemented? My current understanding seems highly unreasonable and difficult to implement without obstructing gameplay. If you're finding it difficult to spend 2 minutes out of game every time you die, I recommend engaging with other dead players in chat, watching the round, or just checking your phone like everyone else does.
7. Oh God, we're literally switching to Facebook.
8. Thank you Delirium! Many people would describe piracy as a victimless crime, but it's very clear that this usually isn't the case. Is there any paws in particular that you feel are truly victimless?
9. This is really up to how you define victimless crimes.
10. In terms of regulars actively playing the server, it's more of a novelty. If it were to be added as a server, most regulars would forget about it. It also will likely fail to rival the fidelity and features of other retake servers, as can be seen by our FFA server, which is successful, but comparatively smoked by other FFA servers.
11. We've got enough Minecraft maps homie. This one looks a tad small for our server.
12. I bought us some tickets to see that new movie you said you liked but you didn't show :(. I'll get two more for next weekend. I heard you liked your popcorn without butter. Kinda weird, but I won't judge. Talk To Ya Later

13. Why don't we do John Wick 3? Cept can buy a ticket and stream it on tinychat!
14. Crazy stuff

One time I logged into Shoutbox and forgot to 'gratz Manny. Dumbest thing I've done all week.
15. Events Team?

The events Team description is essentially to design, organize, and execute events with the help of CAs and ATs, but I was curious if you guys had a more in depth Team mission or objective to your events. The ideal goal of events Team, to me at least, would be something along the lines of creating events that will draw server regulars into the community and tighten the bond between active members of the community. It seems that the current orientation of events has been closer targeted towards giving active members an endorsed outlet to play games together outside the servers. I may have missed my assessment completely, or maybe that's what the Events Team was going for all along. However, if the team does seek to make more meaningful and impactful events, I have some suggestions and I'd like your guys' input. Prez mentioned previously that the Events Team would be focusing on making more events outside of our current servers. I feel that this decreases the chances of someone who is not active on the forums or within the community of attending events. Server events offer the opportunity for regulars to accidentally attend and enjoy events, but I understand if the Events Team doesn't wish to obstruct the play of those who want to enjoy the gamemode in vanilla too often. This being said, I feel the Events Team can still be successful using non-server Events, but I feel that they should be more open to suggestions and considerate of what different games have to offer. Games that are niche, cost money, or have a steep learning curve should be considered less for events than games that are free-to-play and friendly to new players. I'm glad that there is an Events Suggestion subforum, but I think this could be covered more effectively with a few polls asking what games people own/play and what they would like to see events for. I think that a good example of what an event could be is the SG Open. CS:GO is free-to-play and actively played by most members of this community (duh). On the servers, I've seen many people talk about the Open and invite their friends, who don't frequent the forums/Teamspeak, to join the open. This is reflected in the sign ups thread, and will ultimately get players to make friends with or at least meet people in the community from different servers and in staff positions. One thing that may help tremendously with event turnout would be the addition of Events to the server Splash Announcements. Letting players on the servers know upcoming events and where to find details would get non-Forum users to join the forums or show up to events. I don't want to put down any Events Team members, because you guys have put in loads of effort and it doesn't go unappreciated. I just feel that a outlining a goal is one of the most important steps to being successful, and I feel that this may not be something that has been done very thoroughly. If I'm just missing the point, feel free to let me know, but I really think Events Team could be used as a tool to push this community forward and closer together. I'm at work so some of my fluency of ideas is probably shit. I might edit it later if I'm not lazy, but let me know if you have trouble understanding anything.
16. Does avatar have waifus, anime tiddies, or would you see it in a mg tryhards pfp? No, therefore Avatar is not an anime.
17. 8D, 9D, 16D Music

Hit the nail right on the head here. If you like listening your music to have the effect of someone tying a Bluetooth speaker to a ceiling fan, more power to you, but I'm all for these channels being demonetized for reuploading music they spent 30 minutes warping around.

19. Exams are the most efficient and cheapest way of testing students on material learned in a course. Exams could certainly be revised to be more holistic and test applied knowledge, such as how many AP exams are set up, but this may disadvantage students who previously have done well, but are now tasked with a more rigorous exam to explain the information they have learned. Anecdotally, everyone I know that claims to be a "bad test-taker" overestimates their mastery of a subject because they are very good at memorising and completing assignments, but fail to apply it practically.
20. I wrote you but still ain't callin'

I left my cell, my pager, and my home phone at the bottom

I sent two letters back in autumn, you must not-a got 'em

There probably was a problem at the post office or somethin'

Sometimes I scribble addresses too sloppy when I jot 'em

But anyways, fuck it, what's been up? Man how's your daughter?

21. And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. -Genesis 1:26
22. Nice. Ahh I thought we were talkin 250-300 Big Macs yknow? Since you've made it clear that you're a broke boi, are you planning on producing any type of content? If you're using this purely for TS and in game, the Blue Yeti and snowball are both viable options. I recently purchased the HyperX Quadcast, which features sleek design, an adjustable gain nob, mute feature, and 5 selectable modes. What I find may put people off from this mic is the lack of significant shock absorption (even with the stock shock mount) and it's knack of picking up background noise such as keyboard clicks (even in cardioid mode). About desk vs arm stands: I use a 60% keyboard so I have no problem fitting my mic between my keyboard and mouse pad on a relatively small desk and angle the mic towards my face. This results in more sound being picked up by the mic when anything hits my desk or when I'm typing. An arm will be better at weeding out unwanted background noise and will give you the freedom to position the mic wherever you want it, but this comes with the trade-off of often having a bottom portion of your screen covered by the mic in most positions.
23. I believe you're looking for something like this. Thank me later.
24. What do you guys think of implementing a simple command that allows CTs to type !o or /o in front of chat orders? This could allow the orders to be printed as a toast message (like during !fo) as well as in chat, in case anyone misses it. Chat orders are allowed on our server, and meant to be followed, so it only makes sense to make them more visible to players. It wouldn't be terribly obtrusive, but would be considerably more noticeable. There are several issues with chat commands, but a large portion of these are caused by just how spammed chat is (non-order messages, join/leave/team notifications, suicide notifications, splash announcements, etc.). This causes many players to ignore chat altogether for the majority of rounds as they are focused on play. Having an option for toast message chat orders would cause players to be much more cognizant of chat orders, and alert fellow CTs of active chat orders. While you could make the argument that this could easily be abused, it is relatively unobtrusive, and would already be covered by our spam rules. Additionally, rules covering racism and non-orders as toasts could be added to keep players in check.
25. Three Stooges marathon anyone?
