  1. If you look closer, they are listed under retired awards and there is no longer a button to apply for them. Maybe they'll come back in the future though
  2. Jesus Christ how do you play with that massive timer. Anyways, I can vouch that this occurs very rarely but can easily be replicated when two people try to get the Mac-10 at once, and the second forces the first into the platform.
  3. That's not even Fuze's profile picture; it's the Rust logo...
  4. Oh hell no. If you haven't noticed, our server is T sided, and I mean like 90% T wins 9% Draws and 1% CT wins. We desperately need CT players, and I feel that our current timer is more than enough for someone actively trying to learn the rules to be a decent CT. I think Manny's right here. Every once in a while we'll get some griefer or spinbotter that will wipe the Ts for no more than a map, but it's not going to really be changed by just adding a map or two to the times it takes for them to get on CT. A little off topic, but I do want to address the issue of us lacking CTs. Many, if not most of our admins prefer T, which is fine. However, when CT gets really hard, most players switch to T because they're tired of getting shit on and want free rebel points. This shifts the ratio as far as 5:30. Now I can't say that admins should feel that they have to play CT when this happens, but when the server is going to shit, and the reason you applied was "to make the servers better", you should at the very least be asking players if they want to switch. Maybe nobody else has an issue with this because they like when T gets easy, but I personally think it ruins the meta and makes JB extremely stale. Something has to be done about how incredibly T sided our server is, so at the very least we should be maintaining a decent ratio with admins present.
  5. Many HnS servers use a !ghost plugin different from our !redie or vice versa. It might be worth testing, maybe not. As HnS is knife focused, I don't believe it would cause the same issue.
  6. I don't see any way this could increase ghosting more than regular spectate. This would be useful to help players practice jumps and discover secrets. We already have !redie on my I believe, so it wouldn't be too much effort to port. @Dominic what do you think?
  7. Best of luck, WavY. I'll miss you
  8. Anthem

While these are all issues that may affect sales, they will most likely be patched before launch. Is there any overbearing issues with mechanics or gameplay that you believe ruin the game?
  9. Anthem

I was really hype for it when I first saw game play demos. Critical made a few videos showing it as a steamy pile of shit with poor server support, is it really that bad?
  10. This also occurs on JB. On some maps you get two knives and can't cycle through them. Using aliases, however, I was able to cycle through them and confirm it's actually equipped 2 and not a visual bug.
  11. What happened to Surf #1? Lemme cop a BoGo tho
  12. It's 103°F here. Hot as hell, but things haven't gotten bad yet.
  13. GOOD RIDDANCE You honestly don't remember this, but the first time I got reapplied you wrote me a whole essay to help me feel better and become a better person. It may not seem like it because I got my ass permed, but it meant a lot to me. I've got a few good memories with you but I wish I had more.
  14. "Thanks for playing on Steam-Gamers, unfortunately we've had to restrict our servers to prime only from 10PM-2PM to reduce the amount of cheaters on our server. If you don't plan on buying prime, feel free to request/purchase a whitelist on our forums at Steam-Gamers.net!
  15. I don't think SG has any intentions of hosting twice the servers, but enabling non-prime during peak hours where we have more admins available might be worthwhile to keep our population up and cheaters down.
  16. I saw somewhere that the API can retrieve prime status of accounts so that you can manually whitelist them. If this were something that we could do, what would you guys think of allowing people to request or purchase a whitelist for a reduced price so that they can play with a non-prime account?
  17. I agree. I've seen countless CTs (including admins and one AT) gun down To for having an empty deag or a scout out, especially when they see them shooting at another CT. It's something that shouldn't be an issue considering it only kicks in with 4 Ts left and spams the chat with LR notifications, but it definitely causes confusion.
  18. MG Montage

Some ATs have been snoozing, TTT couldn't get off the ground either @WavY @Wawa @Im Sad
  19. I think before we do anything to limit people's speech, we should do what we can to fix it first. While a server full of 30 people will tend to get loud, there's several things that contribute to it that need to be cut down on. There's three or so main things that cause excessive comm spam that need to be addressed. When someone shouts "IF I DIE IT'S ___", you need to let them know not to yell, and that you can't KOS off of that. When someone is singing, especially for extended periods of time, you need to warn/mute them. When people are yelling for no reason, you need to mute/warn them. I understand that the gamemode gets intense and sometimes people need to yell KOS's or yell for humor, but when people are yelling for extended periods of time, to mic spam, or yelling at each other, it obstructs comms and gameplay, and they should be muted/warned. I understand that this is a decently impactful issue on the server, but I'd like to see the rules better enforced before we start restricting how much people are allowed to talk. The only reason I've seen people muted in the last week, was if they we're using a soundboard, or literally eating their mic. I understand wanting to automate the system, but let's deal with the rulebreakers before we punish everyone.
  20. The Big Lebowski Scott Pilgrim vs. The World
  21. That's what I was referring to, might have just been a difference in wording.
  22. The two versions of razor play the same as they have nearly identical layouts and secrets. The Lego maps have different layouts, but you want one of them removed?
  23. I'm going to have to agree with you on this. While a sticky could be made to discourage conflict, there is already people who take advice as a personal attack on apps, and other who use apps as a way to passive aggressively flame players. A sub forum for this could potentially deepen the issue as people would feel less of a need to be mature and professional in their posts. It seems drama is unavoidable at SG, but strict moderation could potentially negate this issue.
  24. The current situation with voice comms on JailBreak is atrocious. Even with admins present, the comms are constantly spammed with people shouting freekill and various other nonsensical expressions. While there are rules in place against mic spam, having a server that hosts 50 people is always going to have issues with comms. I feel that there are various solutions that should be discussed, such as a comm limit restricting the number of players that can talk at one time, however I feel that there is a more immediate and less controversial solution that can be put in place for the time being. Having a command to mute the T team (on the receiving end, similar to how !ma works) would allow Ts to have an easier time listening for orders. This would also prevent Ts from accidentally following T orders, and allow CTs to more easily enforce orders made by fellow CTs. I really can't see any substantial downsides to implementing this, and I don't think it would be that hard to do. Feel free to let me know what you think, or suggest any better solutions to the problem at hand.
  25. I can see what you mean by this, and I do agree that this generally tends to be how things should work. However, responses to an app general have participation bias from people who do or do not want to see the applicant become admin. This would allow for a more general sense from people who may not have even had any indication that the person was applying. Additionally, I see many applicants who more than mature enough to handle being an admin. They can be level headed and have a clear understanding of the rules, but may not get the whole point of "acting like an admin" to apply. 90% of the time that I "enforce" the rules, it doesn't really do anything. This being noted, I can see why non-admins wouldn't see a point in enforcing the rules. Additionally, people may not be actively making constructive forum posts simply because they'd rather leave it to people more knowledgeable. Someone in this boat could easily land a 3 month reapply, when all they really needed was someone to tell them to post and speak up more. While this was my main thought behind the forum, it still has potential for things more mundane or simple, such as what mouse to get, or how to play CT better on JB.
