Capp'n pretty much covered it. The Anything Goes section does not go toward your postcount, while off topic does. Generally the Anything Goes is just a bunch of strange random threads that may or may not have some kind of meaning behind them, Offtopic is for things that don't really have any relation to any other section but still could offer good discussion. Forum games, I guess it depends on what kind of game you want to start. 3-word story could go in offtopic if you want, the counting up to 1000 game sounds to me like something that should stay in the Anything Goes section though since there really is no meaning behind it at all (if I understand correctly, people just make individual posts with "1" "2" "3" and so on..)

I'd say we usually have community meetings in Teamspeak every 2-3 months on average, but it depends on the sort of things the higher ups need to go over with the rest of the community at the time, and how much the members want to go over with the higher ups. Usually these meetings consist of AO's and BD's telling everyone about different things we're doing, addressing questions and concerns the players might have, and opening up the floor to the players and admins for a Q&A session of sorts. And at the end we unmute the channel so everyone can scream Like Metal said though, we usually keep everyone posted on changes in the announcements section at the top of the forum, just below the shoutbox. This way we don't need to work around our daily schedules too often to organize meetings, as well as so the meetings don't end up lasting only 10 minutes each time. Usually community meetings last between 1 and 2 hours if memory serves me correctly, and that's a decent amount of time. Long enough to give members a reason to attend, but not too long to the point where they'd rather watch paint dry. We haven't really discussed having a community meeting recently, as most (if not all) of the recent changes have been announced on the forum, and it's easier for us to make a thread for some things than it is to ask everyone to drop everything they've got going on to attend a meeting about it that may or may not be worth their time (depending on everyone's own particular interests). If and when we do decide to have a community-wide meeting, we will post in the Events section (right below Announcements on the main forum page) and give everyone roughly a 7-10 day heads up so they can adjust their schedules if needed. As of right now, we don't have a community-wide meeting planned yet, but if that changes we will post it there to let everybody know. In the meantime, if you have any ideas you'd like to go over, feel free to post a quick topic about your thought in this Suggestions Box section (say that fast 10 times, lol) which will allow everyone to gather their thoughts about it. I'm still working on them, just during a pretty busy week. I've got most of it done.

I had a long post typed up but I guess I lost it, so I'll make a short one. I'll post my proposed changes to the colors system in a new thread with poll when I get home, it's a little more than changing just one color. I have a feeling though that people will not like it, but we'll see, it's just to change things up, not to make one color stand out more than another. Almost put it on the other day, even had rankbars made for it, but I didn't want even more complaining over it than there already is. We have so many ranks these days (though not nearly as many as we used to) that I'll either change the system to give us more flexibility for future possible ranks or leave it entirely as is. In the end, it doesn't matter and we've got better things to discuss tbh. The colors system is not meant to make one color stand out from another, it's so we can tell one rank from another, so it really. doesn't. matter. Colors are colors, and the current system makes it easy to tell ranks apart because there isn't a cluster of colors (or ranks for that matter) or different shades of same colors, etc like there was in 2010. Originally the rank colors were ordered based on the color wheel in early 2009, but it was pointless once so many new ranks were introduced and/or re-implemented from late 2009-now. Anyways, I'm locking this thread, I'll put up my idea in a new thread in a bit and either we change to that or the current colors stay. Too much thought over a simple thing already.

I'll try putting it back on, the problem before was games not saving peoples scores unless the game was one of 5 or 10 that came with the plugin by default. I'll give it another shot tonight or tomorrow.
