  2. I'm looking to buy additional RAM for my computer because not only does the RAM that came with my computer suck, it would be nice to have 32GB of RAM. I'm looking to keep my budget $80- but will go a tiny bit above if it's worth it. Ideally would like non-RGB LED RAM. I don't care about "oooh pretty colors", I just want something that is reliable and fast. Any help is appreciated.
  3. Heyo, I think it would be cool if there was a way to tell who is the owner of a certain private channel. I know that when you do .claim, you're given control over the channel, so I assume there is some way to display that via a temp rank? It would be useful with knowing who to ping when you want to be let into a channel, see if the channel is claimed by anyone in it, etc.
  4. Masks...

I work at a martial arts place and help run the after school program and teach classes for the kids. We are required to wear masks, and at work I have no qualms with wearing them because even though I'm 99% certain I don't have COVID-19, if I can do my part to prevent spreading anything to the children and families I interact with on a day-to-day basis, I will. It honestly drives me nuts when I have to tell parents and grandparents to put their masks on more than I have to remind the children to pull their masks up. The amount of entitlement people have because they live in the "land of the free" is disgusting. It's not hard to have common courtesy to keep your mask on during a global pandemic to protect others. At Thanksgiving this year, I wore a mask because my grandparents are immunocompromised and so are a couple of other family members that attended our small gettogether. Do I enjoy wearing the masks? Of course not. I would much rather be able to see people's faces from my coworkers, to the kids I take care of, their parents, people I see in stores, etc. It gets itchy and sweaty and gross but if it's to help us get out of this quicker, I'll do my part. Unfortunately, not everyone has the same mindset. According to a WebMD report in late October, mask use in the US has gone up drastically, but the percent of adults who always wear masks is still only at around 70% (well when in public places), which is nowhere near where we need to be to stop this surge of cases. I'm hoping once the vaccine becomes readily available to the public, enough people will be willing (ironically, I won't be getting it) to get the COVID vaccine and restrictions around the country can be lessened so smaller businesses can go back to closer-to-normal and people can have somewhat of a concept of "normal" social interaction. Even a year in, there's still so many question marks about what's going to happen, all we can really do is individually do our part and hope for the best.
  5. Wonder why they let @BoTobecome sentient
  6. let's fuckin goooo
  7. Appreciation...

Well if we're actually going to be mushy here and bring it all out I guess I'll put mine in a few parts. Firstly I'll thank the "OGs" I was around in my first consistent stint here at SG from like 2017-2018 for being able to deal with my obnoxious ass when I was still an immature idiot and could scream at the cost of my vocal cords over Overwatch. Shoutout to both the TeamSpeak peeps I would chat with and the JB tards I would laugh for hours with back in the day (well at least when I was still a "JB kid"). For those that are left, here's your tag to know you're appreciated. @Hellobby@Big Cage @Evol@shado @[banned user 1] @[banned user 2] @Post@Suri I guess next I'll go over my "staff era" here since it looks like I won't be touching a staff rank for a looooooooooooong ass time, if ever. I met some incredible people I had plenty of good memories with, from the events team, the CA teams, the realones (yes, we were toxic and were close to being on the US men's instigating team), and the boys who worked their ass off to rebuild the marketing team. Spent far too many hours here trying to do what I could to make the community a better place for those who came and went, even if my contributions really amounted to nothing. I'll mention some of the more notable people from that time who I really appreciated: @Strayyz@nesquik@Dong @Casual@Poke@Kopsta@John@urpalerp @Noxstar @BoM Now since my return from my perm: I really appreciate how welcoming you all have been with me. I honestly thought I wasn't going to be welcomed back too easily considering how I went out. Yall have been incredible to be around and are helping me through rough times, yall are some great people. Cod peeps @Black Rain @Crow @Error. @ImHunterIRLit's been great fun playing with you guys. ZE Boys @Maniac @Takuto @kuriit's been great getting into and learning ZE with you guys and it's incredible to see the amount of work you guys have been putting in. Hopefully I can stick around : ') Special Mentions: @Greggy G- Thank you for probably being my best friend here since my staff era here. You've been an absolute homie and will call me out on my shit. You're a real one and I hope you know I'm here for you whenever you need it. @fantastic- It was a pleasure working with you in my CA days grinding for shit on Jailbreak. It was great seeing the amount of work we got done as a JB team. Haven't heard from you much in recent months but I hope you're doing well with school and whatever responsibilities you have here. @delirium- Thank you for being a brutally honest motherfucker and allowing me to take part in performing CPR on the marketing team. Hope you're staying well. @Cept For Her-- (sorry forgot to put you when i originally wrote this, I'm tired ;-;) Thank you for being a homie since my return. It's been real nice to be able to chill with you recently.
  8. honestly speaking didn't listen to too much music this year and honestly looks like my top 5 could be from 2017 lmfao

  10. Congrats boys.
  11. 19-1 :(

small clip I hit tonight, so close yet so far
  12. I don't see the point in this. Just read chat, it's not that difficult to take the extra second to look down for orders.
  13. im craving to find another individual who is ridin' solo.
  14. Fully deserved. I'm glad to have been getting into ZE and seeing on the outside all the work you've all been putting in. Congrats gents.
  15. Yo, Just had an idea to expand the SG brand that I think is pretty safe to invest into if there is interest for it. There is a website where you can make custom stickers and I think it may be cool if there were SG stickers out there because I'm sure there may be some interest in buying them. This website offers all kinds of stickers from vinyl, holographic, matte, brushed aluminum, etc. They come in all different sizes so there's a lot to mess with. Here is the website.
  16. I can't speak for how this went on TTT, but in the past year + month this was hosted on MG twice. When I hosted it back in October of last year, the event bombed and it got stale really quickly and people lost interest. I'm not sure how it went when @Domhosted it, so you'll need to ask him. I'm sure the player base has changed since I hosted it, but I would just be weary of having the event last too long because I feel like this will either do great or be a 30 minute event that dies quickly. Things obviously can change in a year, but just speaking from experience.
  17. Well. It's something I never thought I would do. It's time for a ZE event suggestion. I mentioned this to @Maniacalready, but I think it would be cool if we did a Sunday event for the harry potter map and did some harry potter models for the event. I think it would be a good time trying to work together and figuring it out as we went. Hopefully someone would be able to lead. The name "Slytherin Sunday" would just be a fun catchy name if ya ask me.
  18. Normal VS Online

I've been trying to do that but it's kind of hard to do when my routine is wake up, school, work, homework, repeat. It's becoming increasingly hard to find time to even breathe nowadays
  19. Normal VS Online

Online learning is negatively impacting my education so not only does it hurt mentally knowing I may be falling behind my peers but it also hurts that I'm paying such a large amount of money for half of my professors to not really care. I would give anything to be back in a classroom, ZoomU sucks. It works for some people, but it really doesn't work for me.
  20. I think you're missing my point. The point of changing the name is so that we advertise the server correctly. Advertising an easy bhop server when you are not exclusively running easy maps is honestly misleading advertisement. There are only like 2 or 3 consistently up 128 tick bhop servers. I honestly don't see too much of a negative change in players happening if the name is changed.
  21. Heyo, Just dawned on me that our bhop server is named easy bhop and I feel that can be misleading. We do have T4 and T5 maps and @Noxstarhas considered even adding a T6 in the future if I remember correctly. It just doesn't sound right that someone looking to learn or just chill and not do hard maps joins to a T5 behemoth like sqee or alvo2 instead of a random T1 they can learn or chill on. Just think it would be good to go back to just BHOP 24/7 instead of Easy BHOP 24/7 to prevent misleading anyone and so that we represent our server correctly.
  22. Honestly speaking, I really didn't anticipate myself making another reply to this thread, but here I am. I'm sorry if everything I say isn't really "up-to-date" since I rarely play jailbreak now and many things have changed since my "absence". I do think that encouraging regulars and admins to take their own personal steps to try and make the server more fun and enjoyable is a good step, but won't really achieve much. As bitter as it sounds, there are just too many people who don't actively check the forums or really care to break their habitual playstyle for the betterment of the server. A discussion of how to manage the discussion is inevitable because change needs to happen. Statistically speaking, this server is on the downswing as sad as it is to see. Even though we are during the school year, during the after-school hours in years past there would be a concurrent player count from about 18-32 from about 3PM-8PM EST on school days, and the highest I usually see the server when I'm on CS:GO is in the high teens. Though the style of the server I knew and loved from when I was young still exists, it's time for a change. As I said in the OP, the CTs NEED more structure. The task at hand is really hard to take care of, and I give you both credit for looking at all the options to look for an answer. Trying to find a balance between CT-structured play and our "trademark" prisoner chaotic play is nearly impossible. I still agree with parts of what I wrote back in May. I think it would be really interesting to still allow the freedom of guards of giving orders but having a big brother there to mark who the bad guys are (if they are KOS, not rebelling), and be the backbone that gives definite orders that in most cases can't be changed. If either of you two ( @TheZZL @Chad ) would like to have a discussion with me about any of this I would be glad to, just pm me on Discord, I'll reply when I am able to.
  23. So it seems your idea comes from the right place because I suppose some people would definitely find it "cool" to be able to trade in-game cosmetics, but there's really no feasible way that part of the suggestion would be implemented successfully (in my eyes). This has been brought up before and one of the main reasons it was shot down is because people can purchase points through the donation page. The fact that points are tied to actual currency makes having a system where more expensive items can be traded for cheaper items (abusing the system) difficult. Not to mention people finding ways to scam people, ways to essentially "trade credits" directly-- just too many potential issues and problems for staff that can be avoided by not having this system in place at all. BUT, your idea of selling items has been brought up before and generally liked (iirc) but was put on the backburner at the time due to development of the new forums/general long list for the tech team to go through. The arbitrary value of how many credits someone can get back is up for discussion, but it's ultimately at the will of those who will be coding the plugin for that. I think being able to sell back items at a slightly reduced rate would be a good thing to add, but definitely not something that's super high priority to add.
