  1. One of the main questions on this thread is what is deemed the "punishment" when a CT cheats LR under the circumstances that would receive punishment? I think that there are one of two ways this can be interpreted: 1) Admins punish cheaters just like how a freekiller would be treated 2) The T is allowed to kill the CT The whole thought of the T being allowed to kill the CT because they cheated is just stupid in my opinion as then it would cause many different issues like people complaining about "freekill because he cheated so I had the right to kill him without being KOS" and other stuff like that. I don't belive a T should have the right to kill the CT because of the cheated LR, but cheating LRs should be treated like a freekiller; it's breaking the rules, and it can be reported for exploiting/breaking rules. I wonder what everyone's thoughts are on this, as @RemixedPixel mentioned: @Benzene if you would like to add to your extremely long explanation about cheating LRs, that would help answer the question
  2. I think that making gang points the main "goal" for Ts would definitely be more interesting compared to grinding your ass off every day on T side just to get points and destroy the CT team. With people like me and chy on the top, with me being 1000+ points from the third place and chy being a whole damn almost 5000+ points from me, it really lets people down who want to be at the top. Reviving gangs should also bring updates to the system. I'm not sure how to system works as when I had come back it was already broken, but I believe that the system gives points off of kills (if I'm wrong feel free to correct me). Possibly having a score multiplier based on how many gang members are online, and having a gang member cap can help Ts create their own rebelling groups to try to aim for the top. There could also be additional points earned based on round survival, winning LRs (if possible), etc. I think that the gangs plugin has a lot of potential and could take over the current leaderboard that encourages monotonous grinding over long periods of time.
  3. what did you do to Jmcdon7

where's your long lost brother Jmcdon6

  4. I think this would require the plugin to be edited (if I'm not mistaken) and may be hard to make. Putting work just to allow newer players to learn secrets isn't really good in my opinion, as players should be able to learn secrets over time by playing more, becoming more experienced. Sure, there are people who are overly annoying and continuously ask to learn secrets without trying themselves, but if you were to teach people secrets, you could just do it when the rounds basically over and they're alive, or tell them to spectate you when they're dead.
  5. LR

I think this is way too complicated and pulls away from the simplicity of an LR. Having all these available settings and such will confuse new players and also, make the gameplay a lot more monotonous and less interesting. People will definitely abuse the settings that force CTs to do certain things to rebel and new metas will be born, and it may cause more problems.

It's a lot more balanced IMO with less places for Ts to run away and less secrets clustered together. New minigames add a fun flair to the map that was lacking due to stale rounds and being overplayed.
  7. Braces

Try using your fingers to push your teeth into your gums. Very fun.
  8. Either way the path should not be KOS. The end.
  9. So I'm guessing the secret was removed and they just put the MAC-10 there, huh.
  10. I mean, it's the T's LR. They should be able to choose what gun to use and if a CT accepts a s4s they should be ready for any type of gun. Further restricting what the T can choose is not good in my opinion.
  11. I'm talking about the thing you are talking about. Clearly you don't know the secret, but it involves the vending machine on the CT balcony, unless they changed it or something.
  12. I'm pretty sure the MAC-10 only appears after you do a secret involving the vending machine. It shouldn't be KOS because it serves a different purpose other than to get to the gun: to go outside and have a balcony to watch over whatever. I think what BloodBlades means is that areas that serve no other purpose than to get guns are KOS, such as the scout ladder in undertale or the pool catwalk in VIP, as they would be considered connected to secrets and therefore KOS.
  13. IMO cheating your LR is only allowed if you are trying to kill rebellers. There is literally no other reason other than either the LR broke or someone is going to interfere your LR by killing you, in this case, I would allow the CT to cheat the LR. However, if a CT cheats an LR for no valid reason, such as they didn't want to do that LR or they just exploited it for health, the "punishment" would be me slaying them. I'm not so sure about the "right to kill the other CT" as most of the time CTs have valid reasons for cheating LRs, and then the Ts be all bitchy saying "You cheated my LR, now I get to kill you" even though the CT was defending his own life. To sum it up, if a CT cheats due to the fact that he is trying to enforce, I don't think it is punishable, however, cheating in LRs for no reason would deserve a slay, I don't think the Ts should get the kill for the CT's mishap, instead the T would be able to re-LR (as the current LR was not finished).
  14. There is literally a bridge behind that watchtower that connects the two. I don't think it should be KOS because you can't open armory there from the outside.
  15. Might as well make the red platform kos as well, since it serves no purpose other than to be the cell button and allows CTs to have some control over maincell. Overall I think that the parkour should be KOS as it serves no other purpose than to get in armory, and I think the "roof of cells" should not be KOS at all because it is not possible to get into armory from there and splitting it up into KOS and non-KOS even though there is a bridge in the centre of the two makes no sense.
  16. beeen more like baaad

  17. You think I'm a good rebeller? NO! Some games, I see people getting 8+ assists because they keep on getting kill stolen by kill-hungry top 20 people (not me, because I'm already dead). It's really frustrating to try to gain points to achieve your goals when you keep on getting denied by the top players on the server. There probably is a way to not show the decimal and only add one point every four assists you gain. Also, against experienced CTs, if you spawn in the pistol cell you will be targeted. If you are going to be shooting a pistol ONLY to tag CTs, 90% of the time you will be domed along with maybe 1 or 2 of your innocent T buddies depending on how closely stacked you are. Farming points through assists will also not really be beneficial as you would have to get 4 assists as opposed to 1 kill, which is a lot harder to get without dying. There is also the thing that if you get an assist, you are KOS. As long as CTs pay attention to who is KOS in the killfeed, you're done for. I think the quarter point awarded for assists isn't meant to be some new meta of farming points, it's just a way to compensate players who have been struggling to fully kill CTs.
  18. Assists giving only a quarter of a point mentioned by @TheZZL makes sense as a person could only damage a CT for 41 damage, compared to the 100+ damage that a person has to deal usually to get the kill. Upping the points for kills to 2 at this moment right now could really kill some of the grinds that people put a lot of effort into; doubling the kill reward could only be implemented after a points reset (which nobody wants) or after literally doubling everyone's points. A quarter point given as a sort of "participation award" may satisfy the annoyance of getting kill stolen and/or not being able to kill the person but getting really damn close.
  19. This could work but would definitely have to be implemented later if this was a thing, it may or may not be hard to even implement this into the server in the first place. I think it would appeal to people and make them want to play the game more seriously, as shown in JB people would grind on CT to get their CT rank clout.
  20. I think this may influence over-competition and may lead to some negative targeting and toxicity, maybe just keeping it clean with a simple leaderboard system may work, not saying this isn't a valid idea but IMO it may lead to some problems. Would still be a great flex tho IMO people are already trying to do this and we can't change who people are. Even without a solid ranking system right now, people still try to go for inno kills by T baiting and false KOSing, etc.
  21. Bump Would still like to know everyone's opinions on this and whether or not it is a viable addition to TTT that will help with some current issues
  22. You can get warning shot if you were standing originally and crouched, or if you were crouched originally and stood up. This wasn't my definition, I pulled it straight out of the jailbreak rules. What I meant was that the definition that you could crouch and uncrouch when told to be frozen was not what was in the rules, you must remain in the state you were in.
  23. I was only stating in which situation a T would be crouched when frozen. Sure, they could be delaying, but that's an entirely different reason for being warning shot. I was just saying in which scenario a T would not be warning shot for being crouched.
  24. In the JailBreak rules, it says : • Freezing - When told to freeze you are to stay in the same spot, if you were crouched stay crouching, if you were standing stay standing. You may look around unless told otherwise. In this scenario, referring to the rules, the only way a person would be able to crouch is if they took a step out while crouching. This means that if they took a step out while crouching, they must remain crouched for the duration of the order, and the people who took a step out standing must remain uncrouched during the duration of the order. I'm not sure where people get the idea that you can crouch and uncrouch while frozen, but you just have to remain in the state you were in when you took a step out. If a CT sees you get out of your cell standing and then crouch, of course they are allowed to shoot you, however, CTs must be experienced enough to fully understand orders and their loopholes (such as when there is a crouchwalk order without stating whether you can jump or not, so people start bhopping everywhere - in this case I've seen many people get freeshot). As long as the CTs are capable of even understanding their own order this problem would not occur, so I would just recommend giving more specific orders that restrict all loopholes. In scenarios like these, the CTs are just being dumb by not specifying whether or not the Ts should be crouched or not. There is the previous factor of whether the T exited his cell crouching/not crouching, and not giving specific instructions to an already specific order really doesn't make much sense in my opinion.
