  2. Now with people sweating and spraying down anyone who fires their gun, I think that the golden knife doesn't have to come back as people would notice if someone knifed another person. It's pretty obvious to tell if someone got one hit knifed as long as you are paying attention to who knifed and who got knifed; most of the time the one hit knife doesn't yield good results as you are trading 50 credits (-75 cred for one hit and then +25 for killing an inno) most of the time for one kill, which can be used for more useful items such as the teleporter to get out of sticky situations.

A very open map with lots of places to run away, and with an open armory (may need to get nerfed). An open armory encourages CTs to make sure all Ts are present and compensates for the lack of secrets in the deathgame room. There are also your normal places such as iso, "big cage" (4 corners), pool, soccer, and disco, which features astronomia (COFFIN DANCE) which can be accessed all on one side of the map, along with most of the secrets. Most of the deathgames are featured on the other side of the map. The map may look very complex in the screenshots at the map link but upon playing it it's a really open map with most, if not all features on the very open main floor, which can be easy or hard to enforce based on how the CTs choose to operate. Can be a very good map for people who don't want to tryhard rebelling and just want to have some fun. This can be one of our server's game heavy maps similar to chicken island, when people need to calm down on rebelling.   5. If the T is able to take a shot but is purposefully not taking it (which is highly situational and is subject to discretion) I think 3 seconds is enough for them to take the shot. To be truly delaying in a shot for shot is having the ability to take your shot but not shooting, so giving a tight time limit keeps them in check and makes sure they are trying to do their LR. It could possibly be extended to 5 seconds as I know some people can't aim and 3 seconds isn't enough, but should they really be delaying an LR? It's just wasting time.

I'm kinda fine on both sides of this predicament as there is still a platform that the Ts would have to go to, and then the Ts would have to break down a door than can withstand more than 10 knife hits. That platform can easily fit more than 2 CTs without getting into knifing distance and the platform is KOS, so it is still manageable (along with the fact that there is a warden's office that is basically a one-way and the small room in between main cell and armory that you can defend in). I'm fine with it being KOS or not, it's really up to the managers at this point since it only applies to one map and I don't see many issues arising from the stairs not being KOS; the Ts may be closer to armory but I haven't experienced many rounds where the Ts overpowered the CTs due to their ability to get closer to armory on that map.

  8. I was thinking opening up a menu and when a player selects a server they would get the IP in chat. Listing all the servers and their IPs would take up like 20 spaces in the chat, and it's really hard to copy and paste when theres a lot of things to look at and theres people constantly typing things. I feel like having the player choose what to look at so that they don't have to find their wanted server amid all the chaos in chat, making it only show their desired one will make it easier to copy and paste or something. I wasn't really saying make it show globally, but showing all servers for one person could flood their chat and make it hard to use.

Maybe making it into a command that shows a menu, which then you can select a server to see its IP would be good because if this command just listed all the servers and their IPs in chat it would flood the chat too much. Is there any way to make it so someone could directly connect to another SG server from a menu? If not, I think this idea is cool but would need a sort of menu to organize it.

  12. Interesting event, some JB maps are actually big enough to play TTT on and as long as cells are always open there a lot of meta spots to kill from/hide. Probably will have to use JB maps that don't have TP deathgames and stuff unless we can disabled them (such as chicken island, etc) people will still camp awp window

  17. Not gonna lie, it was just my opinion since it doesn't really say in the rules in which situation you could kill a T for. In my opinion, you should only kill a T if they fire at you or damage you. This is because, 1) The T could simply be trying to look around while holding out their LR gun, which would make many rule abusers kill the Ts off this if CTs could kill Ts when they point the gun at them 2) CTs who get in the way could also abuse this rule 3) In my opinion, a T would only show that they are trying to kill you by attempting to kill you, meaning that they actually shoot at you. This is kind of like the case of the attempted knife rule, in which they would only be KOS if they actually swing at you, not just holding their knives out and running towards you Killing a T off of shooting at you makes sense as they are showing clear intention to kill you, while killing a T off of pointing a gun at you can be controversial because of the many reasons a T could be aiming in some other direction. We also have the new delay rule in S4S which can combat Ts who are delaying by pointing their guns somewhere else. In the end, the T will die as long as CTs pay attention to what is happening around them, and a CT who is paying attention will probably not get headshot/bodyshot by some T doing an LR; they will find some way to prevent themselves from dying.

  20. Buying a weapon from the menu just deletes the weapon I think. On the other hand, you saying that boosted credits can decide the outcome of a round is correct, it gives a chance for CTs to win the round with extra perks as long as they use them correctly. The only reason I proposed boosted credits is to help the disadvantage on the CT side. As you and ZZL have said, there are times when the CT side is so good that the ratio can be 1:3, but based on my experience on the server with lower populations you can see that the CT side is really disadvantaged if they don't have a carry. Giving them that extra boost or health can save them from being an endless point farm and actually give them a chance to win the round. I'm not sure how hard it would be to give a boost for disadvantaged ratio but I think it could really help as most of the time with a 1:3 ratio CTs can't handle the Ts at all.

We're talking about generally what happens and just because someone can aim does not mean they can play CT well, it is the combined knowledge and experience on CT that gives us an advantage over others, and there are a lot of newcomers playing CT so I don't think this will be much of an issue. There are also many factors that go into the outcome of the round, with aim, yes, as one of them, but there are others such as the teamwork of both sides, the knowledge of secrets/the map, etc. I don't think this will be much of a problem, there is basically no difference between a global getting swarmed vs a silver getting swarmed, 90% of the time the Ts win by sheer numbers.
  22. Possibly increasing the amount of credits based on the terrible ratio could be a way to help the disadvantaged CT side. Lets say if the ratio was 1:3 or worse CTs could get 600-700 credits, while if ratio was 1:4 or worse they could get up to 800 credits, giving them the opportunity to maximize their health (by being able to buy both healtshot and health boost) to compensate for the lack of teammates. @Infinityward thoughts? The ctbuy system is very different from the karma system as it is to give an advantaged to the disadvantaged CT side. Giving a "reward" for killing Ts is definitely encouraging more kills and will stray from the type of jailbreak server the managers want. In my opinion, there should only be credit rewards if the CT side is at a disadvantage, such as the ratio (which I mentioned).

I think that the "normal guns" such as the AK-47, M4A4 and M4A1-S should be bumped down a bit because armories usually/always have them and should only be bought when there is a lack of guns such as on razor, lowering the credit count could allow CTs to have their own "special" perks while still having a primary to defend themselves with. Maybe bumping down the rifles down by 25-50 credits could allow more variety in what someone would be able to buy. On the other hand, the MP9 could be extremely powerful if used in the right hands. Many maps don't have the MP9, and it's the MP9's ability to warning shot someone for 90+ damage that makes it so powerful. A CT with good skill can bring huge advantages to their team by warning shotting for very high amounts (by headshotting, doing I wonder if there is a way to make it drop an Exojump for ~300-400 credits, it would give a lot of advantages such as getting to high spots that would generally be unreachable, etc. It could help with CTs getting into spots where they can watch over the Ts from far while holding a secret, getting into a good off-angle, etc.
